Coaches from each division also selected five athletes to be named to the All-Defensive team.

Wylee Dauenbaugh, a sophomore guard for Central Lakes College, was selected as this season's MCAC North Player-of-the-Year.  Dauenbaugh started in all 29 games for the Raiders this season, and he hit 134 of his 279 shots from the field, connecting on 48% of his shots. He also shot 42% from the three-point arc and 80.3% from the free-throw line. Dauenbaugh scored 389 points this season, averaging 13.4 points per game. He grabbed 107 rebounds, stole 31 balls, and blocked 11 shots. He also assisted on 71 made baskets, which ranked him 12th in the MCAC North in assists. Under Dauenbaugh's leadership, the Raiders put together an 18-11 overall record and 11-1 North Division record. Central Lakes claimed the MCAC North Division title.

Jim Russell, the head men's basketball coach at Central Lakes College, was named the MCAC North Coach-of-the-Year. Russell led the Raiders to the MCAC North Division title, compiling an 18-11 overall record and an 11-1 record in the MCAC North this season.  Central Lakes College entered the NJCAA Region 13 Men's Basketball Tournament last week as the #1 seed from the North, and defeated St. Cloud Technical and Community College on a buzzer-beater to advance to the tournament semifinals. Russell's team then lost a close semifinal game to Ridgewater College, 105-97, ending their season.

Tyrese Mayo, a sophomore guard for Ridgewater College, was selected as the MCAC South Player-of-the-Year.  In 28 games this season, Mayo scored 620 points, hitting 236 of his 434 shots from the field (54.4%). He averaged 22.1 points per game and shot 42.7% from the three-point arc and 80.6% from the free-throw line. Mayo rebounded 129 shots and stole 45 balls to rank him 6th in steals in the MCAC South.  He assisted on 122 made baskets, which ranked him second in the MCAC South Division. Mayo's exceptional play helped Ridgewater College finish second in the MCAC South Division and advance to the Region 13 Championship Game, where they eventually lost to Riverland Community College. Mayo's #10-ranked Warriors have a record of 22-6 overall and 9-3 in the MCAC South. They await the opportunity to advance to the NJCAA DIII National Championship Tournament as an at-large selection, which will be announced this week.

Derek Hahn, the head men's basketball coach at Riverland Community College, was named the MCAC South Division Coach-of-the-Year.  Hahn led his Blue Devils to a 29-2 overall record and an 11-1 record in the MCAC South, claiming the MCAC South title.  Riverland is ranked #5 in the latest NJCAA DIII Men's Basketball poll. Hahn, after winning the NJCAA Region 13 Men's Basketball Tournament on Sunday, will take his Blue Devils to the NJCAA National Championship Tournament in Herkimer, NY, on March 11-14.
